The Main Street Gold Dust that included the buffet is closed. It is not expected to reopen. The Holiday Inn is still open and under different ownership.

There are two Gold Dust casinos in Deadwood. They are across the street from each other on Main Street. One casino is smaller and has the Holiday Inn Express Hotel. The bigger casino has the buffet, table games and poker room.
Holiday Inn Express at Gold Dust
The Holiday Inn Express offers 78 rooms. Twenty two of those rooms are suites. Amenities include an indoor pool, hot tub, complimentary breakfast, free internet, exercise room and more. Free parking in the Deadwood parking deck is offered to all hotel guests. Off season rates start at $69 weekday and $79 weekends. Summer rates are around $100 weekdays and around $135 weekends.
Gold Dust Buffet
The Gold Dust offers a buffet. Lunch is $8.99, dinner $9.99-$13.99 depending on the entree and Friday and Saturdays are $21.99. Friday and Saturdays include prime rib and crab legs. Beverages are not included and are $1.75. Seniors are $1 off, children ages 5-10 are half price. Children under 4 eat free.
Gold Dust Table Games
The Gold Dust offers six table games. Two tables are Three Card Poker with a progressive jackpot and a $2 minimum bet. The progressive jackpot hand is AKQ of spades. The bet is $1 and the jackpot starts at $1000 and progresses until it is hit. There are also two six deck blackjack tables with a $2 minimum. The rules are double anything, double after split, split to four hands, resplit aces and the dealer hits soft 17. The Gold Dust is the only casino in Deadwood where aces can be resplit. There are also two double deck blackjack games with a $5 minimum. The rules are double anything, split to four hands and the dealer hits soft 17. Players cannot double after a split in the Gold Dust’s double deck blackjack.

The Gold Dust poker room closed in 2012.
Gold Dust Video Poker
The Gold Dust Hotel’s casino has two different video poker banks. One bank is a quarter 7/5 Jacks or Better progressive. It appears 1% goes to the jackpot, making the payout 97.15%. There is also a $.01/.02/.03/.05 denomination bank. This game offers 2’s Wild (94.82%), 6/5 Jacks or Better (95%), 6/5 Double Double Bonus (94.65%) and 5/4 Kings or Better Joker Poker (95.46%). These machines can also be found across the street at the other Gold Dust.
There is also a Gamemaker machine. It is the only Gamemaker machine in Deadwood. The games include 8/5 Double Bonus (94.18%), 7/5 Double Double Bonus (95.7%), 7/5 Jacks or Better (96.14%) and 10/8 2’s (95.96%). There is also a Joker’s Wild Pickem Poker game on that machine.
Gold Dust Player’s Club
The Gold Dust player’s club has three levels. There is Bronze, Gold and Platinum. Gold and Platinum players receive open bar. Players also receive one point for every $2 wagered. Players can exchange 100 points for $1 in cash. This makes the player’s club payback .5%. Players must go to the player’s center and exchange their points for a voucher that is to be taken to the cashier cage.
Gold Dust promotions include 5x points on Friday and Saturdays from 2-7pm on all slots. There is also 5x points on Sundays from 6pm-midnight on all slots. There are also many drawings throughout the day for cash and free play.
